The Big Picture The purpose of this module is to instruct the student in the various techniques for developing and utilizing properly effective graphics. Attention will be paid to maximizing file quality while minimizing file size in the construction of projected messages and computer-aided electronic presentations.
Instructional GoalLearners will create a PowerPoint or ClarisWorks presentation. Each presentation will include scanned images, digital camera is, and images copied from the Internet. The student will be able to maximize image file quality and size parameters for projected messages and computer-aided electronic presentations. All images used will conform to effective presentation graphic guidelines. This module will assist the learner in the completion of the following portfolio components:
PrerequisitesThe learner wil posses a beginning knowledge of computer navigation and menu control commands and familiarity with PowerPoint or ClarisWorks presentation software. The learner will have access to a computer with accessibility to the Internet and the following input hardware:

GradingCompletion of this module offers the opportunity for fulfillment of the Instructional Technology Master's Degree Portfolio requirement of a Professional presentation. The final assessment is project based. Completion of Practice Activities (7) = 70 points. 17.5% Completion of fourteen Feedback Activities (14) = 70 points. 17.5%
