1st Presentation Assessment: This assessment will combine what you have learned in Lessons 1-2.(20% of total grade)
Using a presentation software of your choice, create a five slide presentation with the following format:
First Slide includes a Title page with:( 16 pts)

- Date
Second Slide (16 pts)
- Example of JPEG file
- Definition of JPEG
- Purpose for use of JPEG
- Original source of file
Third Slide (16 pts)
- Example of GIF
- Definition of GIF
- Purpose for use of GIF
- Original source of file
Fourth Slide (16 pts)
- Example of BMP
- Definition of BMP
- Purpose for use of BMP
- Original source of file
Fifth Slide (16 pts)
- Example of PICT
- Definition of PICT
- Purpose for use of PICT
- Original source of file
Please submit this assignment to your instructor by the due date.Title all your work with your name and date submitted. Then submit this as an attachment using ftp. Name your file with your first and last initial plus the first three letters of the month.You may save it as a ppt file, ClarisWorks file or convert it to a pdf.

Final Assessment (25% of total grade)
Now that you have completed all five lessons you should feel more confident about creating a presentation from scratch. You may use the work you have already done or begin anew. Your job is to create a professional presentation that will be suitable for electronic presentation to your collegues and /or will be placed within your online portfolio to fulfill one of your Master's Degree requirements. This presentaton should be at least ten to fifteen minutes in length. It must make use of effective presentation methods. Title all your work with your name and the date submitted. Use your first and last initial plus the first three letters of the month when saving your files. Send your work via ftp or convert it to a pdf file and attach it to your on-line portfolio. Be sure to notify your instructor where to locate your work. Your final project will contain the following:
- Graphics that enhance the presentation and are the proper resolution (10 pts)
- Original layout that makes good use of color for the background and fonts (10 pts)
- Stated purpose,and objectives of your presentation (10 pts)
- Effective communication of your message (10 pts)
- Copyright credit for borrowed material (10 pts)
- Original logo (10 pts)
- Written document in Word or ClarisWorks that details the information you will be delivering along with the slides. This will be similar to a script. (20pts)
- Supplementary handout material necessary for your successful presentation. (20pts)
